I watched "The Strangers" on Friday night. It was a packed house for this creepy home invasion thriller. True to form, it wasn't that good, but the sounds were creepy enough for me. (This is a movie that scares me, but made a lot of guys laugh.)

very simply---(*spoiler*) if they properly holed up with the gun, they would have scared off the strangers...

But nevertheless, the idea/event of home invading is on the rise, it's only so undisclosed because rich people don't like reporting that they were home invaded...(to further protect their neighborhood)

I had nightmares after this movie, and I dreamed a friend was stabbed to death (oh dear), a friend I haven't seen in about a year, but nonetheless I had to go on thefacebook to see if he was still alive (yup, and in good health).

easy sunday drives

Today was a day that was gloriously slept in.

After a brunch of scrambledomlette eggs with toast + watermelon chunks, we headed to Glendora. I'm not a California native, so I have no clue whether I'm going east, west, south or north of anywhere from here...

After a quick stop on Rt. 66 in Glendora for some weinerschnitzel (photos to come), and a corn dog and chili dog  (1.79 for both, pretty amazing, since our old hot dog haunt, johnny's hot dog house in PA cost about 5x that amount for 2 any-things..)  we headed up to the Mountain road for a cruise.

It was quite beautiful (and very cool + sunny) on top of the mountain, and pretty empty, minus a few bikers and motorcyclists..

I love easy sunday drives.
